Zari Hassan has addressed speculations about her marriage to Shakib Cham Lutaaya hitting rock bottom after a video of her and Diamond holding hands went viral online.
Diamond on Thursday, February 22, 2024, posted a video of Zari and him holding hands as they walked together like a couple.
The Wasafi boss referred to his Ugandan baby mama as his sister in the caption.
Shakib shared a series of cryptic messages on Instagram after his wife and her Tanzanian baby daddy acted as if they were dating again.
Shakib also deleted all photos of Zari Hassan from his Instagram account.
Moments later, a video of Shakib and DJ Alisha smooching surfaced online hours after Zari and Diamond were seen holding hands as they walked.
The undated video showed the Uganda-based Rwandan DJ passionately licking Zari’s husband like a lollipop as they cuddled amorously in a car while driving.
Zari scoffed at her critics while responding to speculations about her marriage to Shakib being on the rocks following the PDA with Diamond.
On Friday, Zari explained that the video with Diamond was intentionally done in promotion of the singer’s new music project.
Via Snapchat, the mother of five poked fun at those who were rejoicing thinking Shakib and her have parted ways because of the video with Diamond.
“You must be there talking about how I am crying because I posted a promo video of my children’s father and my husband posted his ex to get even. But it seems you don’t know me,” Zari said.
Clout chasing
Diamond and Zari deliberately posted the video to stir up emotions and get people talking.
The clout chasing even became better as Shakib pretended to have been deeply affected by the video and deleted Zari’s photos while Zuchu publicly announced she had romantically parted ways with Diamond.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram, Zuchu noted that Diamond continues to be her business partner but as far as access to her heart was concerned he is banished.
Meanwhile, DJ Alisha said the video of Shakib and her smooching in a car is an old clip that was taken years back when they were an item.
“That’s an old video. Many years ago😂,” DJ Alisha wrote on X.
