Kenyan socialite and beauty entrepreneur Huddah Monroe has shared valuable advice on parenthood, noting the importance of being able to be fully there for one’s children.

In a series of Insta stories, Huddah highlighted the risks children face when left vulnerable due to their parents’ absence.

The socialite, who has made a point of delaying having children until she is ready, pointed out that until they are old enough to defend themselves, youngsters need their parents all the time.

She added that when parents are not around, individuals take advantage of youngsters in this fast-paced and ‘wicked world’

“Have children when you can take care of them fully and see them grow. Not having kids and still selling [p***y] and running the streets to feed them. Your kids need you 100% until they can defend and protect themselves. Nurture & protect your cub like a lioness! So it can be the King of the jungle when it’s grown! When you are not around, many people are preying on your children. It’s a wicked world!” Huddah declared

Huddah on having a child

While she says she will not have a child until she is ready, in July 2023, Huddah expressed a desire to have a child of her own noting that she is the only one left.

While sharing the story of 37-year-old American actress Lindsay Lohan, who gave birth to her first child, Huddah shared her worries about being late on motherhood.

“At this point, I’m the only one left! Let me gather these eggs,” she wrote on her Insta stories.

In a past Question and Answer session with her fans, the socialite addressed critics who claimed that she would hit menopause without having a child of her own.

Huddah expressed her displeasure with women thinking that they must have children through birth noting that there were many street children and orphans who one can mother as their own.

“I don’t know the only purpose of a woman on earth is to give birth. So that doesn’t bother me, never even thought of it. There are too many homeless kids with no mothers or parents so you could still mother them. Being a mother is to nurture or bring up,” she explained.
