Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has announced her intention to embark on a personal journey to strengthen her relationship with God this year.

Through her Insta stories, the mother of two expressed a desire to go back to church after so many years.

Vera also noted that she is a believer, and has been diligently doing her part as a Christian.

However, she said she has always found it hard to go to church due to the unnecessary attention she gets as a public figure.

She urged her followers to for assistance in finding a suitable church to attend. She requested recommendations, specifically in the upscale Karen neighbourhood.

“Haven’t been to church in ages. Damn. I’m a believer, I pray & do my part as a Christian but damn hard going to church. Too much attention. Y’all know any good churches where I won’t be destructed. Please suggest some. Ideally in Karen. This 2024 I’m building a better relationship with God,” Vera Sidika stated.

Huddah’s views on religion

Socialite Huddah Monroe recently also shared details about her religion.

Huddah revealed that she practices both Islam and Christianity. She emphasized that, in her view, there is no significant difference between the two religions.

In a Q&A session on her Insta stories, she noted that there’s only one God.

“There’s only one God!”

“On religion, religion brings division. Please, everyone, try to educate yourselves. The same stories in the Quran are in the Bible; they only differ on a few things,” she stated.

Huddah encouraged her followers to overcome religious ignorance by exploring both the Quran and the Bible.

She highlighted that both texts are now translated, with the Quran available in various languages and the Bible in English.

She urged people, especially Muslims, to obtain copies of both and strive to understand them, emphasizing that this knowledge could foster better understanding and respect for each other’s religious practices.

“Wake up from that religious ignorance my brothers and sisters. The Quran is translated now. Go and get a copy, The Bible is in English, and as a Muslim go and get a copy. Understand them both and you will never question the other’s Religious practices,” Huddah declared.
