Kenyan radio presenter Tanasha Oketch says she dated three men preceding her relationship with Tanzanian heavy-hitter, Diamond Platnumz.
Responding to a follower on Instagram in a recent Q&A session, Ms Oketch said she “can’t judge Diamond based on the many ex-lovers he has, given she too also had failed relationships in the past”.
Preceding his love affair with Tanasha, which started in November 2018, Diamond Platnumz dated at least seven women namely Zari Hassan (Ugandan socialite), Wema Sepetu (Tanzanian actress), Hamisa Mobeto (Tanzanian model), Penny Mungilwa (Tanzanian TV host), Naj (Tanzanian model), Jokate Mwegelo (Tanzanian District Commissioner) and Kim Nana (Tanzanian video vixen).
A section of Instagram users asked Tanasha if she doesn’t fear being dumped by the award-winning musician, given his “known history of ditching women after having enough of them”.
Responding to the online users, Tanasha Oketch said she cannot judge the musician based on mere speculations, but what her lover currently does for her.
According to the 24-year-old, Diamond, 29, is meeting all his obligations as a boyfriend, including taking good care of her.
“Everyone has a history with his or her ex-lover(s). Even me, before meeting Diamond, I had had romantic relationships. To be specific, I had had three men preceding our affair with Diamond. I, therefore, cannot judge him by just looking at who he dated, or what he did in the past. I look at a person in his current form, not based on his past. If one takes good care of me, I have no issues, whatsoever, with him,” said Tanasha.
Tanasha Oketch is expecting a baby boy, her first with Diamond Platnumz, in early or mid-September.
Tanasha Oketch says she wishes to have more children with the artiste.
“I will get another child with Diamond 5 or 7 years from today,” she said.
Tanasha Oketch was, in the past, rumoured to have dated Kenyan actor Nick Mutuma and Tanzanian musician Ali Kiba, claims which she vehemently denied.
