Stivo Simple Boy management has announced the termination of their contract with the Mihadarati hitmaker.
In the statement shared through their social media handles, Men In Black (MIB) management however did not explain its reasons for letting go of the singer.
This comes at a time when many have been accusing MIB of letting the singer suffer in poverty, yet his music makes money for both parties.
“We would like to notify you that we no longer wish to proceed with our musical contract with you. This letter serves as a notice to you our intent to terminate the contract in a lawful and in accordance with the protocols,” MIB said.
The management went on to give Stivo Simple 35 days to respond to the termination of their contract, asking for his cooperation during the period.
“Termination of the contract will be effective as of 31st July hence we have 35 days of tabling both parties’ interest for a smooth transition. During the process, all parties will be paused and a lawful process of events will be followed in accordance (sic),” the statement added.
Stivo Simple fired again
The new management terminated its contract after a year of working with Stivo Simple Boy, who had earlier walked out on another management.
At the time the management was said to have been using Stivo Simple Boy by marketing his music and pocketing the money leaving him to survive on nothing.
Speaking on this, his now ex-girlfriend Pritty Vishy also confirmed Stivo was living in poverty at the time – a confession that has once again been repeated by Stivo’s new wife Grace Atieno.
According to Grace, MIB has reduced Stivo to nothing by controlling his money. With them handling the finances, Stivo is often left with nothing to the point they cannot afford food.
“Manager wake anampatia stress, yeye anajikondea tu, wakati tulikuwa nae alikuwa ameungaunga tu sasa hivi ni stress ya manager wake, pesa zake na hizo account zake. Si yeye ndio anatumia, si yeye ndo anazimanage yani kila kitu manager wake ndio anamanage,” Grace Atieno confessed in recent interview.
