Fast-rising artiste Stivo Simple Boy has released a new song featuring his rumoured lover Jenny Wangui as lead actress.

The wedding song titled ‘Wedding Day’, featuring Tanzanian singer Wyse TZ, premiered on YouTube on Friday, September 16.

In the song, the rap sensation whose real name is Stephen Otieno Adera, pours his heart out to Jenny, for her love and affection.

The ‘Freshi Barida’ hitmaker appreciates the beauty for accepting and sticking with him despite ‘haters’ making fun of his looks.

Watu walinisema nikajisikia vibaya. Wapo walinisema aty sura yangu mbaya ila mpenzi wangu hakujali yote haya bado kanipenda na leo tunafunga ndoa.Umenipa heshima nafeel fity moyoni. Niko well well na leo siamimi…mtoto milk maziwa,” Stivo raps.

Photos from the video shoot surfaced on social media on Friday morning shortly after Stivo shared a short video on his Instagram.

It’s now clear that the ‘wedding photos’ were nothing but a ‘kiki’ meant to promote the video. The trend is common with local musicians trying to promote new songs and albums.

Stivo proposes to Jenny Wangui

Stivo asked for Jenny’s hand in marriage on July 25, 2022, in an elaborate ceremony that was covered by vloggers.

The Kibera rapper only unveiled Jenny publicly during their engagement. He had remained tight-lipped about his relationship after breaking up with Pritty Vishy.
