Stivo Simple Boy and Eric Omondi have quashed their beef that gathered steam after the unfortunate events that unfolded in Mombasa.

Eric and Stivo fell out after a fiasco over a flopped performance at the coastal city in December 2022.

The two, however, ended all hostilities after Stivo’s wife Grace Atieno reached out to the comedian for help after accusing the rapper’s former management Men In Business (MIB) of fleecing him.

Grace lamented that they were sleeping hungry at home as MIB held onto Stivo’s money.

Eric decided to save Stivo and Grace from hunger pangs as he visited them at their abode carrying plenty of foodstuff for them.

Stivo was humbled by Eric’s kind gesture and he apologized for releasing a diss track that attacked the comedian after their fallout in Mombasa.

Speaking to vloggers in the company of Eric, the rapper claimed that he was pushed the do the diss track even though deep down he didn’t want.

Hio dis track si mimi nimeandika bali kuna song writer alikua ameandika. Lakini kwa roho yangu sikupendelea,” Stivo said.

He further apologized to Eric over the drama in Mombasa.

Kwa hio yote yenye ilitendeka Mombasa mi naomba ndugu yangu Erico msamaha, tuyafutilie mbali tujenge ya sasa hivi ama sio,” Stivo said.

Eric Omondi also apologized to Stivo.

Leo pia wacha tuombane msamaha ju si ni wasanii na siwezi kua napigania wasanii na tena napiga wasanii,” Eric said.

The drama in Mombasa

Stivo Simple Boy’s former management MIB and Eric Omondi traded accusations after the rapper failed to perform at a Mombasa event where the comedian was part of the organizers.

Stivo was slated to perform at the Sofire Fiesta event together with Nigerian musician Ruger on December 28, 2022.

However, Stivo didn’t perform. According to his MIB management, the rapper did not perform because the organisers failed to pay him before he got on stage.

Eric went on a ranting spree on social media accusing MIB management of letting Stivo down after he failed to perform.

Stivo Simple Boy Management must resign immediately or I’ll have them arrested. How do you bring an artist all the way from Nairobi na hata ajalipwa hata shillingi moja, kwani kazi yako kama manager ni nini. Alafu you only inform me of this at the backstage last minute. Alafu mnakula 84,000 worth of food and drinks na Stivo ajalipwa na mnampandisha basi. Alafu why does Stivo have 4 managers?” Eric Omondi wrote in part.

Mimi I did my part. I spoke to Ruger’s people and Simple Boy’s people and they were to be paid, and infact everybody was paid, including Ruger, Ndovu Kuu, Kusa and all the DJs. All along, I knew Stivo had been paid only for the managers to tell me hajalipwa just as I was calling him to come to the stage,” Eric added.

However, Stivo’s former management denied accusations that they were to be blamed for what happened in Mombasa.

They claimed that Eric wanted Stivo to perform yet he had not been paid, adding that the comedian even tried to forcefully drag the rapper to the stage to perform.

Two ladies from the management further said that they had to share a bed with Stivo as they were booked in the same room.

Eric Omondi comes out and says management yake imefail, we have a recording here. Eric Omondi called us at 4 am by the way. Hio time tulikua kwa room. Walikua wametubukia room moja, kitanda moja Stivo, Loise na mimi coz the other manager anawork na wao so he wasn’t involved. So wametubukia kushare kitanda moja na msanii then wanatuslap na bill,” one of the ladies lamented.
