Stevo Simple Boy and his wife set date for baby’s gender reveal party
By Nancy Marende, August 12, 2025Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy and his wife, Brenda, have officially announced the date for their much-anticipated gender reveal party.
In an Instagram post on August 12, 2025, the artiste invited friends, family, and supporters to join them as they discover whether their bundle of joy will be a boy or a girl.
He announced that the celebration is set for August 23, 2025, at Lid Studios in Ruaka and promised an afternoon filled with love, laughter, and excitement.
“Love, laughter, and a little one on the way. Join us, The Dragon Family, as we find out if it’s Team Pink or Team Blue on 23rd August 2025 at Lid Studios, Ruaka,” he announced.

The announcement comes weeks after Stevo Simple Boy opened up about the complex timeline of his relationships, admitting that he began dating his current wife, Brenda, before fully ending his previous relationship.
Speaking together with Brenda in a video shared on his YouTube channel on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, he detailed how he met Brenda without disclosing his existing marital status, creating a tangled narrative involving multiple women.
“At that time we met, I did not tell Brenda that I had a wife. I did not tell her, but I did have a wife, and she was truly my wife. I did not want to tell Brenda. So when we met, I said I did not have a wife,” Stevo confessed.
He explained that he was living in Kibera then and brought his wife to stay at his home without Brenda’s knowledge.
Further, he disclosed the presence of another woman named Joy, who came from Mombasa.
He narrated that while he was settling with Brenda, he had also sent a message to Joy, asking her to visit him, and her arrival only served to complicate matters further.
“There was another lady from Mombasa called Joy. Some time ago, she came into my life when I had my third manager, Chingi Boy. I was somewhat romantically involved with her, and she warned that she would find out. So I had arranged for Joy to stay with me as well. I told Joy I had no girlfriend; then Brenda arrived. After that, I brought my other wife to the house,” he revealed.
On her part, Brenda joined the conversation in the video and offered her perspective on the tangled relationships.
She said she is now happy with Stevo, but cautioned that beneath the innocent image people admire online lies a man quite capable of charming ladies.
“People used to think she was innocent, but she is a dragon, just like other women. Joy found me and had to leave because she was stressed. A friend of Stevo took Joy and lied to me that she was his wife, but Stevo had called her. So I stayed, and we became friends because she was taken up by Stevo’s best friend,” Brenda said.
