“I have gone through a lot of setbacks. I had a very bad loan that drained my business to closure,” she said.

She recounted how losing her job during the COVID-19 pandemic worsened her situation and made it impossible for her to continue with her music. “I lost my job during the COVID-19 pandemic. From then, I haven’t been able to record any other song due to financial problems,” she said.

The gospel star also revealed the emotional pain of being abandoned by her husband at a time when she needed him most. “The battle has been long. My husband also left me last year when our baby got sick. He left us in the hospital where we had stayed for a month,” she said.

Her story has drawn emotional reactions online, with fans expressing sympathy and encouraging her to keep holding on. Many have described her as a strong woman who continues to inspire through faith and resilience, even in the face of pain.

Sheilla’s openness offers a glimpse into the silent struggles many artists face behind the spotlight — a reminder that fame often hides deep personal battles.
