Cross-dresser Shaniqwa reveals Nigerian man offered him Ksh900K for one-night stand

The veteran cross-dressed comedian who doubles up as an actor Kevin Mwangi widely known as Shaniqwa has for the first time revealed that men especially Nigerians used to flock to his DM during his prime days.

In a candid interview with Dr Ofweneke on Lessons at 30, Shaniqwa narrated how he used to receive weird messages and late-night calls from men who were interested in him.

Additionally, Shaniqwa revealed that he used to shut them off adding that some would offer a huge sum of money.

When asked about the amount of money he was offered, the comedian stated that the highest deal he got was Ksh900,000 from a Nigerian from Roysambu for a one night stand adding that he was asked to go visit him while dressed in wig, dress and makeup.

Shaniqwa on his character

The cross-dressed comedian revealed that the character he played as a slay queen influenced the attraction as well as confusion adding that he used to give a disclaimer about his gender whenever he used to go to interviews.

“I was going through many interviews and before we could start I used to tell them I am straight,” he narrated.

Additionally, the father of one went on to say that at some point he was asked to join the LGBTQ community at a fee.

When asked if the character affected him at some point, he categorically stated that the character never changed his personality.

“No, I would not let it,” Shaniqwa said.

Advice to upcoming cross-dressers

The veteran entertainer further advised the upcoming comedians and cross-dressers before getting into the industry they should gauge themselves to avoid succumbing to harsh judgements from netizens.

“And everybody who is coming to this industry kabla uingie jijue kaa chini jiangalie before they judge you judge yourself first,” he said.
