Singer Delvin Mudigi alias Savara of boy band Sauti Sol has broken his silence amid a backlash on social media over their recently concluded concert.
The celebrated Grammy award-winning quartet has been at the centre of criticism with most netizens calling them out for what they term a short performance.
Apparently, the singers showed up on stage late at night and didn’t meet the expectations of their fans.
SOL Fest concert
This saw the highly publicized annual concert dubbed ‘SOL Fest’ which took place on Saturday, December 17, 2022, trending on a negative note but the artiste is not taking any accountability.
“Sauti Sol is the punching bag. Kama kawaida,” Savara said in a tweet.
Fans gathered in large numbers and while others had an awesome time, most were disappointed.
Savara’s tweet has seemingly done more harm than good and has attracted even more disapproval.
Netizens want them to take accountability and stop playing the victim.
Here are some of the responses to Savara’s reaction;

No Savara. You can’t come in at 3AM, sing a handful of songs, change, have fireworks and photos then leave the stage all in less than 45 minutes.

Like that was not fair to your audience at all. 3AM ? C’mon.
Anyways, I enjoyed the set and loved the energy with balance❤️
It’s good to listen to feedback from your paying fans. This is not it, if you didn’t want to explain / apologize, silence would have been better than this tweet. 💀

Why 3am for a concert that started at noon though? Night guards like me who bought your tickets for a day show are disappointed. Hata kama ‘coming’ late is good for some humans🫣
