Mugithi singer Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh assured curious netizens that there is no bad blood between his estranged wife Edday Nderitu and him.

Samidoh reacted after he was confronted by a woman who told him that she was Edday’s fan.

The Mugithi singer had taken to Facebook to congratulate his fans who braved the cold weather and unforgiving heavy showers to attend his gig.

He calls you when it’s raining and you are glad to go. Eeeish sister blanket, almighty pullover 😂😄, beautiful sweater, lovely umbrella 🤗Asante sana Mafans wangu wa Karen,” Samidoh wrote.

Commenting on Samidoh’s post, one Winnie Mulei told him that she and her clique were Edday’s fans.

Sisi n mafans wa eddy,” Winnie Mulei told Samidoh.

Samidoh replied in a quick rejoinder, telling Winnie that he too was also Edday’s fan.

Winnie Mulei hadi mimi,” Samidoh wrote.

Samidoh’s birthday

Edday demonstrated old flames are hard to extinguish when her estranged husband Samidoh recently celebrated his birthday.

The mother of three had her children sing a birthday song for Samidoh, making love detectives to detect the heat of the remaining sparks in her heart.

Edday and their youngest daughter Nimu sang Samidoh a traditional song. In a video posted on social media, the mother of three was seen encouraging her daughter with lyrics to the song.

Samidoh’s son Michael also sang him a birthday song. Edday was also heard in the background praising her son.

“I love you daddy,” the young boy said after singing the birthday song to his father.

Samidoh shared all those videos on his Instagram stories.

Edday left Samidoh because of Karen Nyamu.

The mother of three was locked in an ugly catfight with the UDA-nominated senator at a club in Dubai on December 17, 2022, in a desperate bid to make Samidoh practise zero grazing.

Karen Nyamu later announced her breakup with Samidoh following the fight with Edday and promised not to engage in any drama in 2023.

But just when Edday thought she had successfully kept polygamy at bay, Karen Nyamu and Samidoh revealed they were back together on February 23, 2023, when they joined the family of the Deputy President in paying their last respects to Gachagua’s sister-in-law Nancy Muthoni who was laid to rest in Gatanga, Murang’a county.

Edday Nderitu came out guns blazing after her husband was spotted in the company of his baby mama at the burial of Gachagua’s sister-in-law in Murang’a.

The mother of three penned an emotional message on her Facebook page suggesting that she would walk out of her marriage as she stressed that she couldn’t raise her children in a polygamous marriage.

Samidoh and Karen Nyamu were unmoved by Edday’s message as they once again made a joint appearance at the burial of the singer’s nephew Geoffrey Mwathi in Nakuru on March 8, 2023.

At the ceremony, the singer introduced Nyamu by their daughter’s name (Mama Wairimu) when he asked her to greet mourners.

Edday and her three children ultimately moved to the US in early May 2023.

On July 22, 2023, Samidoh’s estranged wife said in a post on social media that she was not in a polygamous marriage, adding that she had left her husband to ‘whoever needed him more’.

Lemmie clarify few things that were shared online and not accurate…… I am not in any polygamous marriage as stated I left the husband for whoever needed him more,” Edday’s statement on Facebook read in part.
