Mumias East Member of Parliament (MP) Peter Salasya is breathing fire after comedian cum activist Eric Omondi stated he (Salasya) has failed the public by agreeing to be bought by the government.

The furious legislature said the comedian was being ungrateful and that he regrets bailing him out after he was arrested for demonstrating outside parliament.

“Eric Omondi are you aware of how many leaders from Nyanza have met the president and even to the extent of accompanying the president to YUES wajinga waliiisha Kenya and next time when you forget to pour omena at the parliament and pour only sukuma the way you did, I won’t bail you out. I regret bailing you out today,” he said.

“Mimi nashanga sana na mambo ya Eric Omondi, nilienda kwa DCI hapo kwa parliament  nikamtoa sasa mimi nashanga tukapiga ata na yeye picha alafu naona kwa mtandao akisema ooh Peter Salasya amenunuliwa na government nimekuwa na Riggy G kwa ndege.”

The legislator added that he was surprised to hear the comedian calling him a traitor for meeting with the president and his deputy to discuss the well-being of his constituents.

“Sana mimi nikiuliza kama mluhya President amekuwa Western anakutana na viongozi wa Western siwezi enda kuka na president mimi juzi nimeenda na Deputy President kuongea na vijana mambo ya mihadarati alafu anasema mimi nimeka na oppressor,” he said.

Salasya’s advice

The first-time legislature further urged the comedian to focus on creating meaningful content and not to take advantage of his philanthropic party ‘Sisi kwa Sisi’ adding that Eric is clueless and he (Salasya) is in the best position to guide him if he wishes to join politics.

Eric comedy yako imeisha sai content imeisha umeanza kuokota pesa ukitumia chama yako ya sisi kwa sisi alafu unapeana nunu unakula nusu utuambie ni bishara gani unafanya  nataka nikuambie enda polepole mimi ndio naweza kukuonyesha siasa,” he said.

Let me tell you politics haitaki izo kiki fanya politics the right way unafanya wamama wanapigwa na wewe unataka viewership ndio upate sponsor mambo unaongelelea ya finance bill we have not even started talking about it unaongea vitu hata haijakuja kwa bunge we have not even voted we are still on the budget-making process.”

Eric vs Salasya

Salasya and Eric’s beef started after the comedian accused him of betrayal shortly after being bailed out.

During an interview, the comedian disclosed that the MP is enjoying luxuries provided to him by the government.

Salasya ndio msaliti number one two weeks ago alikuwa na deputy president kwa helicopter, Salasya was on a bonfire three days ago with the president he has been every government event he has been bought he is enjoying the luxuries provided by the government,” Eric said.
