Gen Z house help

On Wednesday, August 14, 2024, the lawmaker hinted through a video on his Instagram account that he was ready to hire a house help for the first time specifically a young lady.

This decision comes after he confessed that the men who are currently preparing his meals have been serving him the same meal of ugali and Sukuma every day and not meeting his expectations.

Additionally, Salasya outlined the qualifications he is looking for in-house help, stating that she must be a Gen Z and passionate about cooking.

“Nimechoka kupikiwa ugali na sukuma kila siku na hawa wanaume wenzangu. Am now for the first time looking for msichana wa kazi… am serious(sic),” he stated.

“Sijawai andika msichana wa kazi lakini sasa sipendi chakula mnanipikia. Nataka nikule chakula cha msichana wa kazi. kue tu Gen Z na anajua kupika.”

Apart from meals, the comical MP complained that the men currently doing his laundry are not delivering, leaving his clothes looking dirty and tacky.

Salasya’s wife hunt

It’s worth noting that the vocal lawmaker mentioned that he is also searching for a wife.

Salasya’s single status often sparks discussions not only online but also in the real world with some women even carrying placards in the streets written, “Please marry me, Salasya,” while asking for his hand on marriage.

However, Salasya explained that it’s challenging for him to find a wife because Nairobi women often prefer city life, whereas he wants someone who can stay at home in the village.

He mentioned that someone advised him to marry a teacher or banker, as their busy schedules would prevent them from causing stress.

“Shida ya wife na hii ni lazima wasichana waelewe biblia inasema submissive. It’s biblical it’s spiritual, you should be submissive,” Salasya shared.
