Presenter Ali denies scam claims, announces shift to forex trading
By Steve Ireri, August 13, 2025YouTuber Muslim Ali, alias Presenter Ali, has moved to dispel growing criticism over his career shift, saying he has made a conscious decision to fully transition into forex trading and will not be swayed by accusations of fraud.
Speaking to YouTuber Trudy Kitui on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, after landing back from Dubai, Ali explained that his social media now openly reflects his new professional direction, noting that the first thing visible on his Instagram bio is the description that he has changed from being a YouTuber to a trader.
He said that in his last interview, he expressed the view that in life, there comes a time when a person feels they have outgrown a certain space and needs to embrace a new challenge.
“If you look at my Instagram bio right now, the first thing you will see is that I have described myself as having changed from a YouTuber to a trader. In the last interview I did, I said that in life there comes a point where you feel you have outgrown a certain space, and you want to take on the next challenge. My next challenge right now is definitely forex trading, regardless of anything or any bad comments that may come out of this video,” he said.
Scammer
Ali then pushed back against suggestions that his entry into forex trading is a cover for dishonest dealings.
He said that despite people suggesting he is now scamming others because of this shift, his conscience is clear, and he knows he has never defrauded anyone.
He stated that if anyone could come forward and say they had been scammed by him, he would give them any amount of money they mentioned.
“Some people are saying that because I have started forex trading, I am now scamming people. I actually do not care, as far as my conscience is clear and I know I have not scammed anyone. If anyone can come forward and say that Presenter Ali scammed them, I will give them any amount of money they mention,” he added.
Ali described the discipline and mental resilience he has developed through trading, explaining that forex involves a concept known as trading psychology, where a person must learn to control their emotions, whether they make or lose money.
According to him, this has shaped him not only as a trader but as a person, transforming his mindset, the way he speaks, and how he handles different aspects of life.
“So far, it has been crazy because forex trading gives you a lot of discipline, as you are dealing with money. It also helps with mental toughness because there is something we call trading psychology, and you have to be very good at it. When you lose money and when you make money, there are emotions involved,” Ali said.
Ali said the experience so far has been intense but rewarding, emphasising that forex trading has provided him with valuable skills in discipline, emotional control, and problem-solving, which have influenced his outlook beyond financial markets.
“Forex trading has shaped me not just as a trader, but as a person. I have become completely different, the way I talk, the way I solve problems, and the way I handle many other aspects of life have all changed.”
