Rap sensation Ngesh is embroiled in a bitter war of words with YouTuber 2Mbili who was instrumental in her journey to instant fame.

2Mbili played a big role in catapulting Ngesh to stardom as he interviewed her moments after a snippet of her verse on ‘Rieng Genje’ went viral on social media.

The YouTuber also helped Ngesh navigate her way in the industry by introducing her to the who is who in Kenyan showbiz.

However, 2Mbili and Ngesh fell out and the aftermath of their row has been a noisy beef in the interweb.

Speaking to vloggers, 2Mbili lamented that Ngesh is famous but has no direction, adding that some people were trying to take advantage of her to mint some coins.

She is famous in the industry hana direction. I was trying to show her the direction. But again at the same time there are people who are right there to try and make money from her. Me I was using my money, my resources. Me I was just trying to add value to the lady, get gigs for her and I was getting zero per cent from the money she was making from the gigs,” he said.

2Mbili explained that he fell out with Ngesh after she failed to show up for a TV interview he had organized for her only to discover that she was away signing a contract with an acquaintance in a garage behind his back.

But what happened is tukimove fast haraka kwa hio story yote ya Ngesh why I stopped, I stopped nikasema let the brand 2Mbili not be associated with the brand ya Ngesh, is because one; when I was taking her for an interview at TV47 nilitaka aingie huku na mbwembwe aingie na TX. Where could II get the TX? Nkareach out to Omar, Omar drives a TX. So Omar went behind me akaongelesha Ngesh, Ngesh haniongeleshi. Kidogo kidogo naona Ngesh amesign contract kwa garage. Omar has no connection with anybody, the only people he knows kwa media ni 2Mbili na Thee Pluto,” 2Mbili narrated.

The YouTuber further claimed that Ngesh’s work ethic is wanting, revealing that she was consistently late for gigs.

I was calling her namwambia tupatane mahali tuone vile utasaidika, she was not turning up. Na akiturn up ni very late like that day ya interview she was supposed to come saa kumi atengenezwe, apigwe makeup, avalishwe wig twende interview. Alifika 6:30 that’s why you see people are asking ile wig ulipewa jana iko wapi. Ladies you know it will take you three hours kupigwa makeup,” 2Mbili said.

Adding that; “I can’t advise Ngesh ju maybe ata hawatch. Unaweza ongelesha mtu hawatch? She has no phone.”

Ngesh slams 2Mbili

Reacting to 2Mbili’s interview with vloggers, Ngesh claimed that the YouTuber parted ways with her as she was no longer naive like he found her.

She added that once a person becomes smart those who were taking advantage of them flee because they are no longer benefiting.

Ukichanuka, ukichanuka wacha tu nkuambie… Hakuna msee anatakanga, wanatakanga tu mafala watu wote lakini ukichanuka tu mtakosana lazima ju hakuna benefit atapata kutoka kwako,” Ngesh said during an Instagram live session with her fans.
