By Valerian Khakayi, July 16, 2025Content creator Mummie Francie has opened up about a painful chapter in her life, revealing that she suffered a miscarriage in 2015.
Speaking candidly with Dr Ofweneke on Wednesday night, July 16, 2025, Francie shared that she became pregnant just a month after meeting her husband but tragically lost the baby in November of the same year.
She added that the child would be 10 years old now.
“I met Mubaba in July 2015, and in August the same year I got pregnant, and in November, I had a miscarriage. My firstborn would have been 10 years old now, but I had a miscarriage,” Mummie Francie revealed.

Second pregnancy
The digital content creator, who is a new mum in town, went on to say that it is a satisfying feeling to have and raise a child when you are financially stable.
Francie also shared that she got pregnant during the time her father was unwell but only found out she was expecting after he had passed away.
“I feel good now; I’m a new mum in town, kulea ukiwa na pesa ni raha,” she added.
“He was so excited when I gave him the news that I was pregnant again. I guess I got pregnant during that time my dad was sick, and he passed on, and I did not know.”
Additionally, Mummie Francie said she made a covenant with God during her childhood, asking Him to bless her with children only when she was stable, in a good marriage with a responsible man, and nearing the age of thirty.

She explained that this prayer was influenced by her difficult upbringing in a broken family, and noted that she had just turned thirty.
“There was a covenant I made with God because of my childhood. I asked Him to give me children when I am stable, in a good marriage with a responsible man, because I came from a broken family, and it was very tough, and when I am almost thirty and I just turned thirty,” she added.
“All this while nilikuwa nalea mamangu, babangu, ndungu zangu and after burying my last parent, God answered my prayer; it is not as much burden as it used to be.”
The couple joyfully welcomed their newborn earlier this month, marking a moment of celebration after a deeply personal journey.
