Mkamburi Chigogo warns men who comfortably allow women to take care of them

On Friday, November 28, 2025, she said that this is one of the biggest mistakes a man can make, especially when the woman is the one paying the rent or covering most of the bills.
Mkamburi explained that some men fall into this situation because they believe the woman’s offer to take care of them is harmless, but according to her, it always comes with consequences.
he warned that the comfort may feel good in the beginning, but it does not end well for the man in the long run.
Depending on women
Mkamburi said, “Makosa unaweza akujifanyia, kwanza kama mwanaume, ni wewe kutrust pesa ya mwanamke. Aki ya nani hiyo kitu hiwa umejikaanga na mafuta yako mwenyewe.”
She added that when a woman is the one paying the rent, and the relationship is still new and exciting, it becomes easy for a man to agree to move in because of the promise of comfort.
In her words, “Mwanamke ambaye nyumba yeye ndio analipa rent. Mkianzana penzi limetamadadi, kunawaka… anakuambia kuja tu aki, come tu tuishi. Mimi sijali, I will take care of you naona unateseka. Halafu wewe mwanaume kwa sababu unatumia akili ya uko chini, unaenda.”

She said many men convince themselves that they have found someone understanding and supportive, but they fail to think about what will happen when disagreements come.
Mkamburi believes the woman will eventually remind the man that she is the one paying the bills. She said, “Eti mimi niko na mama mzuri sana, hacomplain, ni sawa. I guarantee you, hata kama si leo, hata kama si kesho, hata kama si mwaka huu, if you and that lady are still together in the next 10, 20, 30 years, ipo siku, that thing would be used against you.”
She added that even a small argument could bring up the issue, because the woman will want to remind the man who is in control. According to her, the man will be questioned the moment he tries to speak firmly.
“Atafufua ile mada, atakukumbusha, ukijaribu tu kusema ng’we atakuuliza unasema ng’we kama nani, na hii nyumba ni mimi nalipa rent?” she said.
Mkamburi’s message is that a man should avoid depending on a woman’s money because it puts him in a position where the power can be used against him at any time.
