John Orinda who is Felix Orinda alias DJ Evolve’s father on Tuesday afternoon opened up about how his son is faring on hours after rumour went round that he had died.

On Tuesday morning, social media was awash with rumour that the entertainer who was shot on his head by Embakassi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino had died.

“My son is doing well .He can even now sit down for hours unlike before. I was shocked when I woke up in the morning with the rumour that my son had died,” Orinda said.

He further stated that it was a disgrace to the family that someone had decided to end his life yet he was doing well.

The DJ is currently at their Fedha home where he has been recuperating since mid-last year when he was discharged from Nairobi Hospital.

Doctors and family later said that the bullet was lodged in his brain.
