Amber Ray’s husband, businessman Kennedy Rapudo, has taken a sharp jab at a segment of Kenyan men who are so enamored with social media that they fail to uphold the dignity of their own families.
In a post shared on his Instagram account on Thursday, January 30, 2025, Rapudo lamented that such men exhibit a glaring deficiency in strength and an outright incapacity to lead.
“Men who seek social media validation and fame at the expense of their family’s honor showcase an undeniable weakness and a fundamental failure in leadership,” Rapudo asserted.
The father of three, who recently expressed regret over not having all his children with one woman, went on to bemoan the moral erosion within modern society, emphasizing that in many instances, it is inclined to criticize the gender perceived as weaker rather than seeking ways to uplift and support it.
According to Rapudo, this is precisely why society must acknowledge that the essence of true strength in any gender is anchored in a man’s ability to propel his family forward with unwavering integrity.
“In a society where it is often easier to criticize the perceived weaker gender, it is imperative to recognize that true strength lies in a man’s ability to lead his family with integrity,” he affirmed.
Rapudo proceeded to counsel his fellow men, stressing that their primary focus should be to provide stability and impart the wisdom necessary to navigate the complexities of marriage while safeguarding all that they claim to cherish.
“A man should bring stability and wisdom to his marriage, guiding and protecting those he professes to love,” he concluded.
Baby mama drama
Speaking to a local magazine in July 2024, Rapudo candidly opened up about the emotional turbulence he endures while co-parenting with two baby mamas, revealing that he deeply regrets not being discerning enough in his youth to ensure all his children were born to one woman.
He lamented that managing co-parenting dynamics with multiple partners is no easy feat, admitting that the sheer intricacy of balancing relationships with different mothers while ensuring harmony can be overwhelming.
However, he was quick to emphasize that he has exerted every conceivable effort to foster a peaceful environment for the mothers of his children, granting them unrestricted access to visit him whenever they wish.
The businessman, who had earlier disclosed that 2024 had been the most financially turbulent year of his career, further revealed that he was compelled to seek legal intervention at one point just to secure access to one of his children—knowing all too well the irreplaceable role a father plays in shaping a child’s life.
“There are things I would have wanted to do differently as a father. One of them is having kids with one woman. But it is what it is—those perfect stories only exist in movies. I know firsthand what it means to grow up without a father, and I will never allow my children to experience that void,” he stated with conviction.
One of the businessman’s baby mamas is a Nairobi socialite named Veronicah, with whom he shares a daughter, Savoune.
The second baby mama remains largely unknown, as she deliberately steers clear of the social media spotlight.
And then, of course, there is his wife—self-proclaimed Bibi ya Tajiri and renowned nightclub hostess, Amber Ray.
