UDA-nominated senator Karen Nyamu is seemingly keeping her 2022 pledge after the infamous dramatic night in Dubai in December.
Nyamu in aĀ live video on Facebook after the chaotic night, vowed to act modestly and leave the embarrassing behaviours in 2022. She also vowed to keep her baby daddy Mugithi ace Samidoh uptight and close for the sake of their children.
“Wenye wanasema nilichoma ni juu ya pombe. I was having fun on stage but next year nitaacha, lakini siachi Samidoh, kitu nitaacha ni pombe na drama. Lazima tulee watoto,”(I was drunk to the kneecap last night but come 2023, I’ll stop drinking and causing drama but I can’t dump Samidoh, we have kids to raise),” she said.
Since the scenario, Nyamu has surely stood by her promises and this year, she has been keeping up with Samidoh, tight on her grip, accompanying him on several occasions but with no drama displayed yet.
In 2023, the senator has steered clear from public drama but is closer to her baby daddy more than ever.
Murang’a county
Nyamu and Samidoh were spotted together in February at the burial ceremony of the Sister-In-Law to the Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua in Murang’a County.
In photos shared by Karen, the two sat next to each and looked happy.
These photos however triggered hostile reactions from Samidoh’s wife Edday Nderitu who called the artiste out for the brewing romance between the two that has since spiralled into a cascading no love lost scenario between Samidoh and Edday.
Samidoh’s wife, while celebrating her fifteenth marriage anniversary around that time, claimed she would not be ready to raise her children in a polygamous family.

Nyandarua county
Still, in February, Karen Nyamu and Samidoh accompanied each other to meet with Nyandarua Governor Moses Ndirangu Badilisha.
While it was not clear whether the governor met the two at the same time or separately, he donned similar clothes leaving little to no doubt of the alleged meeting that took place at the Governor’s office.
“It was a great day having a round table talk with Nyandarua County governor H.E DR. Kiarie Badilisha and Tourism Board (NCTA). We discussed how Creative arts can be incorporated to promote Tourism in our great County. Thank you H.E Dr Kiarie Badilisha for giving this chance for our youths to express their ideas. Looking forward to seeing implementation take place,” Samidoh wrote.
Nyamu also said she talked about matters of tourism when she met the Nyandurua governor.
“Today I paid a courtesy call to Nyandarua County Governor, His Excellency Dr Badilisha Kiarie at his office. We discussed his vision to revamp the tourism sector and secure Nyandarua as a pivotal component of the tourism circuit in Kenya for both local and international tourists,” Karen Nyamu wrote.

Daughter’s birthday
In March, Karen Nyamu and Samidoh set tongues wagging as they were seen serving couple goals at their daughter’s first birthday party.
The duo stepped out in matching outfits donning jungle green caps, white t-shirts and combat trousers.
However, in a dramatic move, Karen Nyamu on Sunday, March 2, 2023, raised eyebrows as she decided to give her ‘cowife’ Edday Nderitu a crude run for posting her daughter’s birthday photos stealing the moment.
Moments after Edday shared the birthday photos, Karen Nyamu rushed to her social media accounts and also posted past photos of her daughter’s birthday, much to the amusement of many netizens.
She said she posted photos of her daughter’s birthday ‘due to public demand’.
“Ok due to public demand hehehe A good dad deserves many children🤗🤗 Happy birthday Neriah Muchoki🥰🥰,”Ā Karen Nyamu wrote.
Mombasa county
The lovebirds travelled to Mombasa for the Easter holidays.
Nyamu followed the Mugithi ace to the coast where he was performing on Sunday, April 9, 2023.
They were spotted at the airport leaving Nairobi.
