Karen Nyamu has responded to claims by Edday Nderitu that she would be dead if she had not relocated to the US with her children.
Edday recently thanked her friend Bernice Saroni for helping her relocate to America with her three children.
In her post, Samidoh’s estranged wife stated that if she had not relocated to America her daughter would be in rehab and that she would be dead and rotting six feet under.
“May God bless you gal, whatever you did to me and my kids it’s something I can’t even explain. My daughter angekua rehab mimi nikiwa 6ft under,” Edday Nderitu wrote.
Netizens confronted Karen Nyamu after Edday said that she would be dead if she had not left Kenya for the US.
Facebook user Mkai Kisangau while commenting on Karen Nyamu’s post asked the UDA-nominated senator if she would have felt proud of herself in the event of Edday’s death.
“Saa hii mwenzako angekua 6 feet under, hope ungekua very proud of yourself,” Mkai Kisangau wrote.
In a quick rejoinder, Karen Nyamu dismissed the idea that Edday would have died if she hadn’t left Kenya for the US.
The controversial politician claimed Samidoh’s estranged wife used to be sufficiently chubby before she decided to leave her matrimonial home for America.
Karen Nyamu further noted that people are not stupid, downplaying Edday’s claim that she would have died if she remained in Kenya.
“Mkai Kisangau Na vile alikua amejinonea akiwa kwake alikua ka pum pum smart na tu makai akismile tu macho inafungika. Watu si wajinga buanaa,” Karen Nyamu wrote.
Toxic environment
Edday Nderitu and her three children moved to the US in early May 2023.
On July 22, 2023, Samidoh’s estranged wife explained that she made a conscious decision to remove herself and her children from a toxic environment.
Edday specifically said that her teenage daughter Shirleen Muchoki was ‘a direct recipient of unbelievable behaviour displayed’.
The mother of three further stated that she was not in a polygamous marriage, adding that she had left her husband Samidoh to ‘whoever needed him more’.
Edday additionally disclosed that she had managed to sustain her children’s needs without any help.
“Lemmie clarify few things that were shared online and not accurate…… I am not in any polygamous marriage as stated I left the husband for whoever needed him more. I made a decision to remove myself and my kids from that toxic environment especially my teen daughter who unfortunately is direct recipient of unbelievable behavior displayed …I have managed to sustain my kids needs so far with no help and I am not regretting any bit of it. About communication and video calls I will leave that one there since some people seems to be present when that is happening but I’m not aware. In this new season of my life I don’t need any drama, I need peace only ,I hope next episode of this series my name will be left out. #nothingbutprayers #powerofprayers,” Edday wrote on her Facebook account.
