Kenyan socialite and beauty mogul Huddah Monroe seems to be playing up the possibility of a romantic relationship with Mumias East Member of Parliament (MP), Peter Salasya, and she’s certainly having fun with it!
After setting some tough conditions for Salasya just to score a simple date, the Rich Beauty CEO has shown the legislator some extra love on social media.
In a series of Instagram stories, she shared photos of the MP, with Marvin Gaye’s classic hit ‘Sexual Healing’ playing in the background. If Salasya plays his cards well, just maybe…
But it doesn’t stop there. She also posted a cheeky meme suggesting she stays up late googling him.
And as if that wasn’t enough to fan the flames of gossip, she said that the only way she can sleep is if she can do it below the MP.
“Kulala ni chini ya Salasya.”
This flirty exchange comes after Salasya publicly tried to woo Huddah, only for her to initially dismiss him, joking that the ‘Busia weed’ was making him say such things. But now, it seems the socialite is warming up to the idea—or is it just showbiz?
Confident Salasya
The outspoken legislator recently took to Instagram to shut down naysayers who claim that Huddah is way out of his league.
“Opponents wameanza uvumi ati mrembo amenikataa already hawajui, maybe she is my rib, and she was only waiting for me to come into her life, ya Mungu ni mengi.”
His optimism was clear; he said he believed fate may have a surprise in store for him.
The MP’s declaration follows comments made by content creator Cassypool, who publicly questioned Salasya’s chances with Huddah.
Cassypool suggested that Huddah only deserves a filthy rich man who can spoil her because she has expensive taste, noting that she is out of his reach.
“Huddah ni msichana expensive, na Salasya bado hajafika iyo league. Atapata depression,” he said.
Huddah sets tough
On Friday, August 30, 2024, Huddah Monroe laid out some strict conditions for Mumias East MP Peter Salasya, her enthusiastic admirer, before their upcoming romantic meeting.
Sharing the details on her Instagram stories, the beauty queen emphasized that she prefers to keep her private life discreet, so she doesn’t want to be greeted by traditional Luhya dancers when she arrives.
Huddah also made it clear that any meeting must take place at a five-star hotel, specifically in a presidential suite adorned with orange roses, her favourite flower.
Moreover, Salasya would need to pay Ksh3,870,000 as a greeting fee; otherwise, Huddah warned she would remain silent throughout the entire meetup.
“I don’t want any Isukuti dancing at the airport. I’m private. I only hold meetings at the JW Marriott, presidential suite… filled with orange roses. And don’t forget the $30,000 for greetings, or I won’t speak at all,” she wrote.
“Someone let the Gen Z guy know to make sure the organizers wish him all the best,” she added.
