Hamisa Mobetto went out of control with anger following several reports claiming that Diamond Platnumz is not her son’s biological father.
Social media pages in Tanzania are awash with claims that Mobetto’s son was fathered by Nandy’s husband Billnass.
Photo comparisons of Billnass and Mobetto’s five-year-old son Dylan have been trending on social media in Tanzania.
Mobetto confronted some of the netizens discussing her son’s paternity on Instagram gossip pages.
The mother of two ultimately took to her Instagram account to rant while dismissing those claiming her son was sired by Billnass.
“Yani sipendi mtu aongelee mtoto wangu. Sipendi! Sipendi na Sipendi tena jamani. Na wala sijawahi elewa watu wazima wanakaaje chini wanaanza kumuongelea mtoto wa miaka mitano kama walikuwepo wakati anapatikana. (I don’t like anyone to talk about my child. I don’t like it! I don’t like it and I don’t like it any more. I have never understood how adults sit down and start talking about a five-year-old child as if they were there when he was sired),” Hamisa ranted.
“Yani kwamba mnakosa vya kuongea au ni nini? Please muacheni mwanangu please naobeni. Kama kuna kitu niliwakosea mimi naombeni mdeal na mimi sio mtoto wangu (Is it that you lack something to talk about or what? Please leave my son alone. If there is something I did wrong, please deal with me not my son),” she added.
Hamisa further slammed netizens for questioning her son’s paternity.
“Wekeni jina langu na la mwanangu mbali na vinywa vyenu (Keep my name and my son’s name out of your mouths),” she ranted.
Adding that; “Yani mtoto wangu mie nyio ndo mumpagie baba? Nyie kama nani haswaa? Yani binadamu mnapenda sana kujipa mamlaka kwenye maisha ya watu wasowahusu (You are the ones to determine my child’s father? Who are you to do so? You give yourselves power over people whose lives don’t concern you).
Mobetto stressed that every woman knows the man who sired their children.
“Hakuna mwanamke asojua baba wa mtoto wake ata siku moja. Labda kama nyie huko kwenu ndo tabia zenu. Komeneni tena mnikome na mtoto wangu shobo zenu pelekeni huko mlipowazoea (There is no woman who doesn’t know the father of her child. Maybe for it’s a thing for you. Stop talking about my child. Take your cheap talk to those you are used to gossiping about),” Mobetto stated.
Diamond a deadbeat dad?
The reports about Dylan not being Diamond Platnumz’s biological son come months after Hamisa Mobetto herself admitted that she was not receiving any support from the Bongo singer and later slammed him for skipping the child’s birthday.
In September, Mobetto said she had not received any support from Diamond after Wasafi FM presenter Baba Levo claimed that the singer was ‘pouring money’ on his baby mama.
In August, as Dylan was celebrating his 5th birthday, Mobetto slammed Diamond for snubbing their son on his birthday.
Speaking to Tanzanian journalists, Dylan’s mother said she had no idea why Diamond skipped their son’s birthday.
“Kusema ukweli sifahamu kwa nini nadhani hilo swali ni vizuri sana akiulizwa yeye mwenyewe binafsi mi ntakua sina majibu na mi si mtu ambaye anauliza nadhani ni maamuzi tu mtu unaamka tu asubui unaamua.
(To say the truth I have no idea why Diamond skipped Dylan’s birthday. I think he is in a better position to respond to that matter because I am a person who doesn’t ask. I think it was his decision, somebody just wakes up and decides),” Hamisa Mobetto said.
Asked if Diamond was fulfilling his fatherly duties to Dylan, Hamisa said; “I really don’t want to get into details.”
