Flaqo reveals why he took back Keranta’s car gift after their breakup

Speaking candidly to Oga Obinna during an interview on Monday night, August 11, 2025, Flaqo disclosed that the car, which he gifted Keranta during her birthday, was in his name.
He went on to explain that he could not afford to leave it behind, noting that it was a convenient gift to his girlfriend and not his ex.
“Ile gari ilikuwa kwa jina yangu, and there was no way I could leave the car behind. “The car was a convenient gift to my girlfriend; there is no ex there, one’s ex appears its X,” he revealed.
“I just took the car and I left, I did not want drama.”
Additionally, Flaqo clarified that he only took back the car and not the other gift he had bought for her during their fun moments.

Break-up
Flaqo and Keranta, unlike other celebrity couples, did not issue a public statement about their breakup but instead decided to share cryptic messages, leaving fans to speculate.
In addition to the messages, their social media activity also hinted at turbulence in their relationship, as they no longer shared content or hung out together as they once did.

Car gift
Flaqo surprised Keranta on Tuesday, October 3, when he presented her with a Nissan Note worth Ksh650,000 for her 22nd birthday.
The video shared on their respective Instagram accounts showed the couple starting the birthday celebrations with a picnic date before moving to a closed gate.
Flaqo led his girlfriend to the compound where the car had been parked.
Overwhelmed with excitement, Keranta jumped for joy and expressed her gratitude to her boyfriend.
“I am so happy. I thank God for blessing me. Thank you so much.”
