Edday Nderitu used a new hit song to advise her teenage daughter Shirleen Muchoki against the sweet words that men say when they lay their traps.
In a TikTok video she posted on her account, Edday was seen singing ‘Men Can Lie’ song by Vic West, Brandy Maina, Teslah and Ssaru as her daughter listened keenly to the cautionary words.
“Akikuita my dear, akupe ma beer, it’s a lie. Come here unamhurumia, is a lie. Tell my dear naunamskia, is a lie. Tell me yeah, aki men can lie,” Edday sang.
The mother of three said she was advising her teenage daughter using the song’s lyrics.
“Advising my daughter hapa todu! men can lie I say @Shirley #nothingbutprayers #powerofprayers,” Edday Nderitu captioned the video she posted on her TikTok account.
Toxic environment
Edday Nderitu and her three children moved to the US in early May 2023.
On July 22, 2023, Samidoh’s estranged wife explained that she made a conscious decision to remove herself and her children from a toxic environment.
Edday specifically said that her teenage daughter was ‘a direct recipient of unbelievable behaviour displayed’.
The mother of three further stated that she was not in a polygamous marriage, adding that she had left her husband Samidoh to ‘whoever needed him more’.
Edday additionally disclosed that she had managed to sustain her children’s needs without any help.
“Lemmie clarify few things that were shared online and not accurate…… I am not in any polygamous marriage as stated I left the husband for whoever needed him more. I made a decision to remove myself and my kids from that toxic environment especially my teen daughter who unfortunately is direct recipient of unbelievable behavior displayed …I have managed to sustain my kids needs so far with no help and I am not regretting any bit of it. About communication and video calls I will leave that one there since some people seems to be present when that is happening but I’m not aware. In this new season of my life I don’t need any drama, I need peace only ,I hope next episode of this series my name will be left out. #nothingbutprayers #powerofprayers,” Edday wrote on her Facebook account.
