Gervonta Davis wasn’t the only big winner on Saturday night, as Drake netted more than $1.3 million/Ksh174 million after correctly predicting the end result of the fight.

Davis won by TKO in the seventh after a vicious body shot to Ryan Garcia, ending the highly-anticipated catchweight fight in favor of the undefeated Baltimore native.

And Drake correctly foresaw Davis’ victory, as he wagered $1 million/Ksh134 million on that result.

‘Tank day aka pay day,’ he wrote on Instagram under a photo of the bet slip ahead of the bout.

That successful bet won Drake $1.38 million/Ksh185 million, though his winnings took a dent from three smaller missed bets.

The ‘Search & Rescue’ rapper placed three separate bets on the exact round that Davis would win in, putting $15k each on the first, second and third rounds.

Those missed predictions brought Drake’s total winnings on the night to $1,335,000/Ksh179 million.

Garcia appeared to be in control of the fight in the second round, before Davis dropped Garcia with a left to the chin and changed the course of the fight.

From there, Davis dominated much of the next five rounds before ending the bout in the seventh with a shot to Garcia’s liver.

Garcia took a knee after the shot and failed to get up, as Davis wheeled away in celebration and improved to 29-0.

The Canadian rapper won $2.7million/Ksh353 million weeks ago when Israel Adesanya knocked out Alex Pereira at UFC 287 to reclaim the middleweight title.
