Comedian David Oyando popularly known as Mulamwa and his girlfriend Carrol Sonie have welcomed their newborn baby girl.

Baby Keilah Oyando was born over the weekend with her parents describing her arrival as ‘the best thing to ever happen in their lives’.

“And it’s a girl. A miracle just arrived. Words can’t express the feeling. It’s the best thing to ever happen to our lives. Welcome sweetie,” Mulamwah said.

The comedian thanked his girlfriend for delivering their daughter describing Sonie as a strong woman.

“Thank you dear for this amazing gift. You are such a strong woman to pull this through despite everything we’ve been through,” Mulamwa said.

While appreciating his fans for the support they showed them during Sonie’s pregnancy, Mulamwah expressed his joy saying he can’t wait to have a daddy-daughter talk with baby Keilah.

“Thank you all for wishing us well and keeping us in your prayers. Asanteni sana. She is cute, can’t wait to show her to the world someday and have a dad-daughter talk,” Mulamwah said.

The couple through their online show titled ‘Keeping Up With The Mulamwa’s’ kept fans informed throughout Sonie’s pregnancy.

In 2020, Mulamwah opened up about the loss of their unborn baby revealing how the period affected him.

During a past interview, Mulamwah revealed that the loss of their first child affected him in all aspects of life because he was ready to welcome a new member into his family.
