Comedian YY’s girlfriend left paralysed due to blood clot

Churchill Show comedian YY’s baby mama Marya Okoth has revealed her recent medical condition that left her paralysed on her left leg.

Taking to social media, Marya shared that she woke up one day with a numb leg and after a medical check-up she was told the condition was caused by a blood clot.

“I woke up one day and I realised I couldn’t move my left leg totally and this is because I have blood clots in my left leg,” Marya wrote.

The mother of one further said during this time, the comedian has been right by her side and expressed her gratitude to him.

She said, while the situation is still startling, she remains positive that she shall recover.

“This is a great turning point in my life; I never thought a day would come when I’d be unable to walk totally. This life is full of surprises; you can just wake up, and everything changes without caution,” she said.

Adding; “However, I know this is going to be a testimony. I will never take any life privilege for granted.”

In a video shared by Marya, YY could be seen massaging her foot. Another video showed the comedian cooking a meal for Marya after she was discharged from the hospital.
