Comedy chief Daniel Ndambuki popularly known as Churchill could be reconsidering his lineup for gospel singer Christina Shusho’s upcoming gig after criticism.

In a previous lineup, Shusho was scheduled to perform on the sidelines of a New Year’s Eve(NYE) comedy show much to the displeasure of fans.

Through his Instagram account, Churchill engaged netizens asking them to give suggestions for their ideal NYE gig this year and most are pushing for a full-blown gospel concert headlined by the Tanzanian songstress.

Besides Shusho, fans are also suggesting Kenyan artistes to perform including Eunice Njeri, Evelyne Wanjiru and Mercy Masika among others.

Here are some of the netizens’ reactions sampled by K24 Digital:

@florence.njogu94651: “We want to cry and worship….comedy apana… we have nothing to laugh about.”

@mwambia_purity: “A pure Christina Shusho concert no comedy innit..tunataka kuombea taifa mambo yanaenda mrama.”

@mymiss_gina: “Hiyo entry fee Joh😎🤲🏽😩😂.”

@nellyliruga: “Tunataka kesha kama ile ya Ezekiel pale kasarani,sio concert ya 5mins,tulie machozi ya mwaka mzima.”

@derek_prince_makila: “We need a worship experience of her, not a comedy night, this beats the purpose as she is the only one there as a gospel singer in the event kindly, listen to the people sir.”

@katemarkau: “Tunataka kupiga Nduru moja safi sio kuchekeshwa.”
