Former Churchill Show comedian Vincent Mwasya, alias Chipukeezy has revealed he will not settle down with one woman.

Speaking during a recent interview with a local media outlet, Chipukeezy opened up to reveal polygamy is something practised in his family.

According to him, his father started the tradition after marrying seven wives who he took care of without neglecting any of the wives.

Having succeeded in this, Chipukeezy too sets on following in his father’s footsteps since polygamy has also been accepted in their home and society.

Mimi niko na bibi wengi. I come from a seven-wife family. Najaribu kufuatilia legacy ya mzee.” Chipukeezy narrated.

Adding;

Mimi ndio nimejitolea nisidisappoint mzee, I can’t marry one wife, for a fact.”

Privacy is key

Having mastered the art of keeping his private life off the media for years now, Chipukeezy reflected back on the two relationships he went public with a few years back.

According to him, back then he did not understand the value of privacy when it came to his personal life.

This is why many got to witness the two relationships he publicized before maturing up.

Addressing this, Chipukeezy said if not for immaturity, no one would have found out about his private life.

“Private life is private life. I was a young boy when I was doing all those public shenanigans,” Chipukeezy weighed in.

Adding:

“I look at it differently now. It’s not a big deal. Mwanaume kuwa na mwanamke. Everybody is doing it,” Chipukeezy said.

He however went on to reveal that despite wanting more than one wife, his personal life will continue to remain private even after settling down.
