Cassypool calls on women to dump men who neglect basic grooming

Speaking during an interview with YouTuber Vickie Vickinah on Saturday, August 16, 2025, Cassypool stressed that women should not hesitate to end relationships with men who neglect these essentials.
Cassypool insisted that men must maintain short, clean nails and properly cared-for armpits, emphasising that cleanliness is a fundamental non-negotiable in modern relationships.
“Men should invest in cleanliness. It is very important to be clean. If you are with a man whose armpits smell or whose nails are unkempt, let him go,” he advised.
The influencer elaborated that personal grooming goes beyond aesthetics, saying it reflects respect for oneself and for a partner.
He noted that women naturally appreciate partners with neat, short nails, pointing out that such details often influence the comfort and intimacy shared in a relationship.
“Ladies, you like clean and short nails, and that is why men should take care of their grooming,” he added.
Cassypool also revealed his own commitment to grooming routines, sharing that he practises waxing even when in a relationship.
He explained that male waxing, particularly of the armpits, is essential for hygiene and should not be neglected, despite occasional discomfort.
“I have undergone waxing with my partner. Male grooming, including armpit waxing, is something we must do. Even if it hurts sometimes, it is worth it,” he said.
He further encouraged men to embrace these grooming habits consistently, stating that they are not only about physical appearance but also about confidence, self-respect, and fostering mutual appreciation in relationships.
On that note, Cassypool warned that ignoring hygiene can have far-reaching implications on romantic and social interactions, and urged men to see grooming as an investment in their personal and relational well-being.
“Hygiene is essential, and men should not ignore these practices. Taking care of yourself shows respect for your partner and yourself, and it helps build confidence and intimacy in a relationship.”
Amber Ray marriage
In the same interview, Cassypool hinted that he might have some knowledge about whether Amber Ray is on good terms with her husband, Kennedy Rapudo.
When asked, he initially referred to her as having been previously married, prompting the interviewer to question whether he had substantial information suggesting that their marriage had ended.
Cassypool quickly clarified, explaining that his comments were based solely on what he had seen online and that he is not close enough to Amber Ray to know the details of her marriage.
“I received an invitation from Amber Ray, Bibi ya Tajiri, who was previously married. The information you’re referring to—I only saw it online. You, the interviewer, are the one who brought it up. I do not know her personally to that extent; we only interact professionally,” he said.
