Cashmeer reveals her upcoming wedding will cost between Ksh5M and 7M
By Valerian Khakayi, August 8, 2025Digital content creator and software engineer Cashmeer Sayyid has revealed that her much-anticipated grand wedding will have a budget ranging between Ksh5 million and Ksh7 million.
Speaking during an interview with local YouTubers on Thursday, August 7, 2025, Cashmeer expressed her gratitude for having the opportunity to tie the knot in such a lavish ceremony, which is already causing a buzz in Kenya’s social spaces even before it happens.
In addition to a hefty budget, the content creator also disclosed that her imported wedding gown costs a staggering 20,000 dollars, which is approximately Ksh 2.6 million.
“Budget inaweza kuwa around Ksh five to Ksh seven million mimi na weza sema nimeangukia,” she said.
“The wedding dress is imported, and it is 20,000 dollars (Ksh 2.6 million).”
Her grand, lavish wedding is scheduled for Saturday, August 9, 2025.

This comes after she clarified claims of sidelining some of her social media followers by inviting public figures while excluding people who don’t have high-end handsets.
“Hi guys, many of you are complaining that I have not responded to you, saying my wedding is only for celebrities. Some are even claiming that if you use a Tecno phone, I will not invite you. No, no, please stop that,” she said.
However, she said that although the wedding will feature notable personalities, it was never her intention to make it feel exclusive or elitist.
In her usual candid style, Cashmeer explained that she would be inviting five lucky fans to attend the ceremony in person and act as a bridge between her and the rest of her loyal online community.
In her words, she stated that she does not want to feel guilty about the kind of guests she is inviting and reassured her fans that those five chosen individuals would represent the rest wholeheartedly.
She noted that the selected fans would be allowed to take photos, go live, and offer a front-row digital experience for those who would not be physically present, describing the upcoming nuptials as a day she “cannot wait to celebrate with all of you.”
“Do not make me feel guilty. I am going to invite five of my fans, and they will represent all of you. They will take photos, go live, and share the experience with everyone. The wedding is going to be amazing, and I cannot wait to celebrate with you.”
