Bahati celebrates Morgan’s growth, says he’s a great man
By Valerian Khakayi, July 10, 2025Kenya’s musician and entrepreneur, Kevin Kioko, widely known as Bahati, has described his foster son, Morgan, as a great man as he celebrates his growth and development.
Taking to his official Instagram account on Thursday, July 10, 2025, Bahati heartfully shared that being called Dad with Diana Marua as Mum is their best title, adding that they are grateful to have Morgan in their family.
“Dad & Mum are Our Best Titles 😊 We glorify God for @Morgan_Bahati’s growth. This is a great man in the making,” Bahati said.
Morgan’s adoption
Bahati adopted Morgan from ABC Children’s Home in Mathare when he was three years old.
Bahati, on Sunday, December 22, 2024, during Morgan’s birthday, narrate how he opened the doors of fatherhood and became a responsible family man.
The multitalented musician in a lengthy Instagram post appreciated Morgan for being part of his life, disclosing that before Morgan’s adoption, he was not ready for parenthood.
“Dear son Morgan, over 12 Years ago, when you were born into my life I honestly was never ready for parenthood, but you became my life’s greatest blessing! You were an angel sent by God, a son, a friend and a key that opened my doors to fatherhood and becoming a responsible family man,” Bahati said.
On the other hand, on September 21, 2023, Diana Marua revealed that Morgan was adopted way before she and Bahati started dating.
“Nilipatana na Baha, tukadate tukapendana na tukadecide kuishi pamojaIlipata Baha ameadopt three kids, Purity, Morgan, and Rose. All of them were in a children’s home. Morgan had come to support Bahati at one of the award events, and he won Bahati’s heart, and that’s how Morgan came to live with us. He was the first person to call me mom. I will forever be grateful for that,” Diana shared.
Diana Marua went on to attribute their family’s success to the blessings that Morgan brought to them.
“Izi magari zote, and houses tuko nazo, ni baraka za Morgan,” she added.
Diana and Bahati have three children of their own: Heaven, Majesty and their youngest, Malaika.
