Preacher and content creator Isaiah Keria, famously known as Baba Jimmy, has come out to expose Kenyan women for continuously hitting on him despite knowing that he is married.
In a video shared by the father of two on Thursday, January 16, 2024, on TikTok, he lamented that the habit was getting out of hand and that Kenyan women should maintain boundaries.
He said that people have been interpreting the meaning behind why he returned to Kenya without bringing his wife along and that speculations about him seeking another wife have been trending on TikTok.
He touted that he has discipline, is saved, and that he can’t cheat with another woman because he is saved.
“Watu wanasema ati oh Baba Jimmy ameenda kutafuta bibi ya pili. Mambo mingi mingi tu. Kwanza kuna watu wengi wananitaka, wanaongea vibaya sana kwa TikTok,” Baba Jimmy said.
Being unperturbed
Baba Jimmy then noted that he is not perturbed by claims of that type, as his wife knows that he is saved and can’t cheat.
He mentioned that trust is the most important thing in a marriage and that his wife is also not stressed by what people were claiming, as they have anchored their marriage on trust.
“Lakini uzuri mama Jimmy hana stress juu ananijua. Na mimi namjua. Sis ni waaminifu sisi kwa sisi. Na tena uaminifu kwa Mungu.”
He then asked Kenyan women who have the tendency of gushing over other people’s men to shun the habit and receive Christ.
Baba Jimmy said that such habits are self-defeating and that all who knew they were struggling with the vice should practice repentance.
“Kitu ya maana kwa ndoa ni uaminifu. Kama hakuna uaminifu, kweli itakuwa ni nini? Na kweli watu inafaa mtubu. Kama umejua mtu ako kwa ndoa, usimtamani. Hiyo haistahili. Hiyo kweli watu watubu,” he concluded.
Gifting wife
On several occasions, the Mzungu missionary has proven how romantic he can be after treating his wife to surprise dates and gifts.
For instance, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, he took his wife, Mama Jimmy, on a romantic date in Tennessee and capped off the evening with a surprise that left her speechless.
Baba Jimmy, who had previously revealed that they had been wearing cheap rings because they never had money to buy expensive ones, then flashed out an expensive ring and gifted it to her.
Emotional and overwhelmed, Mama Jimmy burst into tears as she received the precious gift, her heart filled with love and gratitude for her husband.
She expressed how much the gesture meant to her, marking a beautiful milestone in their seven years of marriage.
