Arap Uria spurs mixed reactions for holding placard pleading to meet Peter Drury

Content creator Arap Uria famed for lip-synching ace football commentator Peter Drury is sparking mixed reactions on social media after his tweet went viral.

In the tweet, Arap, who is in Qatar for World Cup, shared a photo where he is seen holding a placard asking to meet the poetic commentator saying;

“Hello, Peter Drury, it’s Arap Uria. I am in Qatar and I would like to meet you.”

In his caption, the Youtuber, who boosts over 380k subscribers, also tagged Drury’s co-commentator Jim Beglin who has since replied wishing him well, adding that Drury will be meeting him later today.

“I have passed on your tweet to Peter. I hope it all works out for you. Good luck,” Jim tweeted.

Adding, “Peter will contact you tomorrow, Arap,”

However, Arap’s tweet has received mixed reactions from Kenyans On Twitter (KOT) and although some think this might be a game changer, others have different thoughts.
