Renowned celebrity make-up artist Dennis Karuri claims that singer Akothee is the most difficult client he has ever worked with.
Speaking to comedian Oga Obinna, Karuri revealed that he has worked with several celebrities including Zari Hassan, Tanasha Donna, and Sarah Hassan but he has never had a difficult time like he did with Akothee.
The makeup artist recounted an event when he accompanied the mother of five to her rural home in Migori for a work-related project where he claimed that Akothee was constantly rude and mean to him.
“She is the rudest client I have ever worked with. She roughed me up but I did my job diligently till the end. I suffered in her hands the whole day, ” Karuri said.
Adding; “After working on her makeup the whole day; you can imagine she told me I had smeared dust on her face. She was like ‘what are these dust that you have applied on me’?” he narrated
Karuri said that he was not happy with Akothee’s mistreatment, therefore, vowed to never work with her again.
