Abed Katue shares reason he cannot date days after Justina Syokau’s marriage plea

In a post shared on Facebook on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Katue warned that he will not subject himself to unnecessary stress, heartbreak, or emotional turmoil alone, making it clear that his stance is firm regarding a relationship with the singer.
He stated that he will not bear the emotional burden by himself and concluded with a remark suggesting that he prefers to avoid complications or forced expectations in matters of the heart.
“Unataka nikupende ndio unistress, unipatie heartbreak na uniache, ndio nikufe na stress peke yangu? NO way. Wacha pakae ,” Katue wrote.
Romantic relationship
The post followed hot on the heels of Syokau’s statement in which she publicly expressed her desire to be in a romantic relationship with the USA-based Kamba millionaire.
Speaking during an interview with Nicholas Kioko on Saturday, November 22, 2025, Syokau outlined her intentions, saying she is single and aware that Katue is also single, making the timing ideal for a potential relationship.
“I am single and he is single, so we can mingle. I like him even more because he has dollars. My message to him is this: Abed Katue, I know you can see me here. I know you live in the USA and I know dollars are available,” Syokau said.
She also praised his generosity, describing him as a giver who has supported other artistes in Ukambani financially, while pointing out that she is the only one he has not yet assisted.
“He is a good man, generous, and a giver. In Ukambani, I am the only artiste he has not given money to, while others he has supported. So, Abed Katue, I allow you to give me something,” Justina said.
Syokau clarified that her interest in Katue is genuine and not motivated by a desire to obtain a visa to the United States.
She emphasised that her feelings for him are real and that she is drawn to his personality, lifestyle, and character.
She also mentioned her fondness for luxury, dollars, and New York, saying she admires the lifestyle Katue represents and that she would like to spend time with him when she travels abroad in December.
“I love dollars and luxury, and I love New York as well. I don’t know which estate you live in, but I would like you to call me in December when I come abroad so we can see each other and spend time together,” Justina added.
