Musician Khaligraph Jones has announced that he is donating free merchandise to Gen Z protesters ahead of Tuesday’s anti-Finance Bill 2024 demonstrations.

Taking to his official Instagram page, Khaligraph noted that the free merchandise aligned with the demonstration’s dress code and asked all citizens interested to inform him.

“Tuesday Dresscode, Free merchandise tunaleta Town Hit me kama Unataka 💯💯 #rejectfinancebill2024,” he wrote.

The musician’s warm gesture comes ahead of the much-anticipated protests slated for Tuesday when the bill will be presented for Third Reading.

A section of musicians and entertainers have taken to their different social media platforms to rally behind the protests.

Earlier, Luo musician and performer Prince Indah declared that he will be following the anti-Finance Bill 2024 action plan during his show today.

Indah stated that he would spare 10 minutes from his show to allow revellers to chant anti-Finance Bill slogans.

“Good morning my people, I am taking this opportunity to welcome you’ll to Egesa Villa in Umoja 1 for the usual quality entertainment. And also tonight, the music shall stop at exactly 00.00 hrs for about 10 mins. We will be chanting #RejectFinanceBill2024. The future is here! Let’s stand together,” he wrote.

Content creator Andrew Kibe also announced his stand on the protests saying he will be joining Gen Z protesters in fighting against the controversial bill.

“It has been a crucial point in our country right now, and I want to thank Gen Z because they have opened my eyes. I was lost, but now I am found.

“I will tell you why. At the beginning of this thing, I was very sceptical. I am afraid of being taken out, and I am afraid of everything. I did not see this movement, and that was a big mistake on my part. But I want to assure you, Gen Z, and everybody else who is in this movement, that I am 100% here now. Hata kame hamnitaki, mimi niko ndani. You are better with me. Trust me, we are better together,” Kibe said in a post on his X handle on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

The YouTuber further pledged to be fully engaged in the protests and commended the youthful protesters for their courage and determination to fight for their rights.

“That is why I commend Gen Z because you have taken the bull by its horns. Akina (William) Ruto na kina (Kipchumba) Murkomen were fighting the system, but now they have become the system.

“I am not part of that system; I am with Gen Z. I am with you 100%. I am going to be on the frontlines, kama mbaya mbaya,” he concluded.
