PSC announces 87 job vacancies

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has today April 5, 2023, announced 87 vacancies for various positions at the State Department for Public Works and at nine public universities.

In a notice shared via their official Twitter page, the commission is seeking to recruit 78 people to work at the State Department for Public Works.

Among the professionals needed include; Chief Engineer Structural (1), Director Kenya Research Center (1), Deputy Chief Architect (2), Chief Superintending Architect (6), Chief Superintending Engineer (Electrical-BS) (1), Chief Superintending Engineer (Structural) 2, Architest I (29), Engineer II (Electrical) (16) and Engineer III (Mechanical-BS) (20).

Public universities

The PSC also advertised nine job vacancies at; Tom Mboya University ( Vice-Chancellor), Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Academic, Student Affairs and Research), Tharaka University (Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Academic, Research and Student Affairs), Kenyatta University ( Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Research, Production and Outreach), Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Deputy Vice Chancellor – Administration, Finance and Planning) and Laikipia University (Deputy Vice-Chancellor – Academic, Research and Student Affairs)

Interested and qualified persons are required to make their application online through the commission’s website or jobs portal.

The application should be made on or before April 24, 2023.
