Police have begun investigations into the death of two people, who were fatally shot by unknown gunmen on the Southern Bypass in Nairobi on Friday night.

Cops stationed at Karen Police Station, who were on patrol, said they heard gunshots on the Southern Bypass at 10:40pm, and when they arrived at the scene, they found two bodies in a silver-coloured Toyota Fielder of registration plate KCJ 766P. The two dead men had gunshot wounds.

“The motor vehicle had been riddled with several bullet holes,” said police in a report filed at Karen Police Station.

The law enforcement officers said, when they scanned the scene, they found another man shot and left for dead in his vehicle, a white-coloured Toyota Premio of registration plate KCC 442N.

The third man was found 500 meters from where police had discovered the two bodies.

The injured victim was rushed to hospital, whereas the deceased were taken to City Mortuary, police said.

Also found at the scene, was a motor vehicle plate number KCJ 451J.

The DCI lead officer in Karen says investigations into the incident have commenced.
