Police boss abducted by thugs found alive, robbed of his firearm

A senior police officer in Narok Central Sub-county was today found alive following his abduction by two unknown men.

Frederick Kinaibei Shiundu was found at 3:30 am abandoned at the Tipis area near a river with his firearm missing.

“Ref my earlier signal on the above subject and ob 4/8/2/2023 at 4:43 am. please be informed that No.231421 Mr. Frederick Kinaibei Shiundu SSP and the sub-county police commander Narok Central was found today at 3:30 am abandoned at Tipis area near a river and his firearm Jericho S/NO. 44330865 loaded with 14 rounds of 9mm stolen,” an OB report seen by K24 Digital read in part.

The police boss stated that while opening the gate to his house yesterday, he was confronted by two men, one armed with a pistol.

Kinaibei stated that the armed thug aimed the firearm at him before they bungled him into a Toyota Wish whose registration is not known.

He claims the abductors robbed him of his firearm and then drove off toward Mau-Narok direction.

“They dumped him at the Tipis area and was rescued by a watchman. He was not injured during the incident,” the incident report read further.
