A rare coloured Zebra foal has been spotted in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

The image of the foal was shared online by the Maasai Mara Wildlife Conservancies Association on their Facebook page on September 14, this year.

According to the Nation, the images were captured by a tour guide-cum photographer, Antony Tira.

“At first I thought it was a zebra that had been captured and painted or marked for purposes of migration. I was confused when I first saw it,” Mr Tira told the Nation.

The images have attracted a lot of attention from social media users in Kenya.

The images of the Zebra foal have been shared widely on social media platforms in Kenya.

Tira said when he took the pictures of the foal, it was hardly a week old.

The young zebra, he said, has a melanin disorder.
