Sarah Wairimu Kamotho, the wife of slain Dutch tycoon Tob Cohen, has been ordered remanded for 10 more days when she will appear in court to take plea.
Sarah, who has been charged with her husband’s murder, is set to undergo a mental health test either on Tuesday or on Thursday.
But the court gagged the media from publishing details of police investigations into the murder of the Dutch businessman after Sarah’s lawyer Philip Murgor complained of being persecuted and prosecuted by the press.
Sarah appeared before High Court and is set to take her plea on September 26, when Justice Jessie Lessit will determine her bail application.
The post-mortem will be conducted on Tuesday after Cohen’s family and Director of Public Prosecutions agreed to include Sarah’s pathologist, Prof Andrew Kanyi.
On Sunday, Cohen’s family said the Dutch national will be buried in Kenya later this week at a Jewish cemetery.
Cohen was reported missing in mid July and his body was found in a septic tank in his Kitisuru home.
However, the postmortem will be conducted tomorrow not today afternoon after Cohen’s family and DPP agreed to accommodate Sarah pathologist professor Andrew Kanyi who will represent her in the process. On time to be agreed by all parties.
