Sarah did not wed musician Harmonize

Tanzanian artiste, Harmonize, did not exchange wedding vows with his lover, Sarah Michelotti, on Saturday, September 7, in Dar es Salaam, the musician’s manager, Beauty Mmari, alias Mjerumani, says.

Pictures of the “Fire Waist” star and his fiancée looking resplendent in regalia worn during traditional Swahili weddings were shared widely on Instagram and Facebook last Saturday, with thousands of online users congratulating the couple for tying the knot.

Other social media users wondered why the artiste secretly organised and held his wedding, without even inviting some of the big-name entertainers from Tanzania.

The musician’s manager, Mjerumani, now says Harmonize did not exchange wedding vows with Sarah, but used his fiancée as a video vixen in one of his upcoming songs.

“Harmonize did not hold any wedding last Saturday The musician was shooting a music video for his new track called ‘Marry Me’. The concept behind it is similar to the one Diamond adopted, when he used his ex-lover, Zari, as a video vixen in the song called ‘Iyena’,” Mjerumani told Tanzania’s Global Publishers.

“There is no way Harmonize will exchange wedding vows without much pomp and colour. Should he hold a real wedding, a lot of people will be expected to attend,” said Mjerumani.

In April this year, Harmonize proposed to his Italian flame, Sarah.

Harmonize, whose real name is Rajab Abdul Kahali, popped the question to Sarah during a dinner event in Rome, Italy on April 2.

The ceremony was attended by Sarah’s close family members and friends.

Harmonize, 25, and Sarah started dating in 2017 shortly after the “Kadamshi” star broke up with his superstar ex-lover, Jacqueline Wolper.
