Former Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria now claims that he is happy the Supreme Court struck out his petition.
Kuria’s petition was thrown out by the apex court on grounds that it neither sought to challenge William Ruto’s declaration as president-elect nor named Ruto as a party to the petition.
Taking to his Facebook account, the vocal politician claims that had his petition been accepted, he would have been arguing his case against lawyers he has termed as “pedestrian and quack”.
“If I would have been arguing my petition alongside these pedestrian quack lawyers, I feel happy Supreme Court struck out my petition,” Kuria posted in a subtle attack directed at lawyer Willis Otieno.
Kuria further mocked Willis Otieno’s presentation before the Supreme Court, saying that his submission constituted the “strongest case” Raila has ever presented.
In his submission, the accomplished lawyer left judges and court attendants in stitches after he sang a popular kindergarten rhyme “Inky Pinky Ponky” in Dholuo.
The advocate is representing petitioners; Mr. Khalif, Mr. Osewe, Ms. Mumbi and Ms. Kamau.
