The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has asked Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria to report cases of alleged electoral malpractices to the police following his sensational social media posts on Monday, August 8.
In a series of posts, the controversial legislator claims there is a plot by the ‘deep state’ to rig out Kenya Kwanza presidential flag bearer William Ruto and his allies in the general election slated for Tuesday.
But DCI, in a statement on Monday afternoon, said a formal complaint would help the police get to the bottom of the allegations.
“The attention of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations has been drawn to a sensational social media post attributed Gatundu South M.P Hon. Moses Kuria, insinuating very serious allegations in respect to election offences,” DCI said.
“The Directorate is urging the legislator to urgently report to any police station or DCI office close to him, to help with investigations for appropriate and immediate action. A formal statement will go a long way in giving leads for quick action.”

“Top Alert!! 40 trucks with marked ballot papers will leave State Lodge Nakuru to various destinations in the next 20 minutes. Media, public please stop them. Most of them have GK registration numbers,” he claimed.
