Presidential hopeful William Ruto lost his cool while addressing a rally in Vihiga County on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, after a member of the public attempted to disrupt the meeting.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, the DP is heard telling off the young man who shouted at him while making his speech.

Wewe kijana unanijibu kama nani? Kama umeleta kisirani kwa hii mkutano utoke (Young man, you are answering back at me as who? If your aim is to disrupt this meeting leave!)” a furious Ruto told the youth.

The video has elicited mixed reactions on social media with a section of Kenyans claiming the Kenya Kwanza presidential flag bearer is bad-tempered.

Others defended Ruto, praising him for taking charge of his meetings.

The DP was in the county to woo residents to back him in his bid to be Kenya’s fifth president.

He addressed two rallies in Illungu and Mbale on the last day of his three-day tour of the Western region.

Ruto heads to Nyanza

Ruto is later today expected to tour the Nyanza region.

He is set to address Kitutu Masaba residents at Magombo market (Nyamira) before heading to Moreremi, Nyaribari Masaba Constituency, for a similar function.

The county’s second in command will hold two other rallies in Egetuki, Bomachoge Chache Constituency, and Kegonga Town, Kuria East Constituency, in Migori County before retiring to prepare for Thursday’s activities.
