This is not the first time minors have been busted with adult content.
In July 2019, at least 50 teenage boys drawn from different schools in Nakuru and Nandi counties were nabbed while watching pornographic videos at an entertainment joint in Nakuru Town.
Police said the students were also found smoking bhang.
The learners, who had been released from school to go home for the August holidays, were arrested after a neighbour, where the entertainment spot is located, grew suspicious when tens of boys in school uniforms continued to flock to the joint.
Nakuru Town East lead enforcement officer, James Kinanga, said the students had visited the joint under the pretence that they were video game customers.
The suspects were drawn from Nakuru Boys’ High School, Meteitei Boys’ School, Londiani Boys’ High School, Kapsabet Boys’ School, Menengai High School and Molo Academy.
The crackdown resulted in the arrest of three people who were found operating the video games business.
