Comedian David Oyando, alias Mulamwah has revealed that his meeting with Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) CEO Ezekiel Mutua earned him Ksh20,000.
Mulamwah, in a post on his Insta-stories, claims Mutua sent him the cash after squashing their prolonged beef.
The two met at the Marwa Music Awards at Nairobi Cinema yesterday.
“Yesterday, we met with Dr. Ezekiel Mutua. We spoke and squared our differences. We are now the best pals. Hatchet buried. We are looking forward to working with MCSK in the near future,

It all began when Mutua promised the comedian a job last year when he was at the helm of the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB).
However, Mutua did not fulfill his promise, which saw the two exchange harsh words on Twitter.
“Hellow, sir, Ezekiel Mutua, it’s almost a year since your promise. Did you mean it, or were you tweeting for the moment, or am I “inaccessible”?. If the government cannot help us as youth, please don’t instill false hope. It would be best if you left us to suffer in peace,” Mulamwah wrote.
In response, Mutua claimed he did not meet the criteria of a clean content ambassador after a thorough background check.

Mutua is seemingly on a mission to restore long-lost trust between him and artistes who were highly opposed to his appointment.
Most were not entirely behind the man who had a troubled tenure with KFCB that saw him unceremoniously exit on August 6, 2021.
Mutua was appointed as the new MCSK CEO effective Friday, March 25, 2022.
In a statement by the MSCK board, Mutua was appointed after a “competitive” recruitment process.
